target time has a 10 lane indoor range complete with electronic target retrieval system, 25 yards, & state of the art cooling & heating system for your comfort. see below in red for rifle allowed on range. RANGE ENTRANCE STOPS ONE HOUR BEFORE CLOSING TIME SO YOU CAN RECEIVE YOUR FULL HOUR. WE CLOSE PROMPTLY AT CLOSING TIME. CURRENT HOURS ARE TUES-FRI 10:00AM-7:00PM AND SAT/SUN 8:00AM-7:00PM SO LAST ON RANGE IS 6:00PM. CLOSED MONDAY.
RANGE RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. GUNS & TARGETS BROUGHT INTO THE RANGE:
All firearms brought into the range must be completely UNLOADED, CASED, AND SECURED PRIOR TO ENTERING RANGE. All guns and ammunition are subject to inspection by the range officer or employee for cleanliness, workability and safety before entering the range. Targets may be brought into the range only if approved by the Range Officer.
2. RANGE OFFICER:
A. Range Officer on duty is in direct charge of the range and all participants at all times.
B. Any person handling a firearm in an unsafe or careless manner or not following the written range rules will be removed from the range and could result in being banned from the range. 3. FIRING LINE PROCEDURE:
A. Only one loaded gun at a time. No other gun handling behind the firing line.
B. Make sure your hearing and eye protection is on before entering the range. Take position at the lane assigned to you. Do not change lanes without consent from Range Officer. Do not carry a loaded firearm outside your shooting cubicle/lane.
C. The MUZZLE MUST BE POINTED DOWN RANGE AT ALL TIMES.
D. No rapid firing is allowed. Two-second rule is in effect (2 seconds between rounds).
E. Targets MUST be set at full distance before shooting.
F. Shooters must load and unload their own firearms in their shooting stall only. If a mechanical malfunction occurs, promptly lay your firearm down muzzle down range and consult with the Range Officer. Do not use the back tables for unloading or loading any firearm.
G. Only line of sight firing is permitted. No drawing from the hip or holster. Keep your finger off the trigger until on target.
H. When leaving the firing line temporarily, lay the firearm with the muzzle down range and the action open.
I. Upon completion of shooting session, unload firearm(s) with the action opened, unless it is cased.
J. Cease Firing means…STOP SHOOTING AND STEP BACK from lane.
K. DO NOT REMOVE JAMMED OR MALFUNCTIONING FIREARMS away from the
lane; contact the Range Officer immediately for removal.
Any person seen firing at lights, baffles, carriers or any other range property or equipment will be removed from the range immediately, and subjected to being permanently banned from the range, and will be reported to the proper authorities for appropriate action. Firing at boxes, cups, clips, and/or other objects is prohibited. Only targets will be permitted. All shooters will be held accountable and will pay for any damage you cause including replacement and installation charges. There is a $10.00 charge for any damage caused to the target carrier and a $1.50 clip charge for each clip damanged.
5. PERMISSABLE FIREARMS:
A. Most handguns except those chambered for centerfire rifle ammunition above 2,000 fps are permitted on the range.
B. Rifles allowed are: Pistol caliber rifles, 22LR, 30 Carbine, AR-15 chambered in 223 or 556 are allowed. Rifle ammo that is 55gr or less you can shoot fmj on the range for grains higher than 55 then soft point or hollow point is required.
All air guns and BB guns are allowed with permission of the Range Officer.
For firearms not mentioned here, check with the Range Officer prior to use on the range.
6. PERMISSABLE AMMUNITION:
A. Standard commercial factory ammunition is permitted.
B. Any type ammunition designed for penetrating metal is not permitted.
C. NO STEEL JACKETED, STEEL SHOT, STEEL CORE, OR RELOADED AMMO IS permitted.
D. No tracer, incendiary, armor piercing, gas or explosive ammunition permitted.
7. FIRING LINE OCCUPANTS:
A. All persons using the facilities shall be of good character. Appropriate dress is required at all times. Target Time is a family-oriented facility and we have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Persons smelling of alcohol on their breath or who appears impaired will be required to leave the facility.
B. All persons utilizing the range are required to receive, understand and sign the rules,
regulations and disclaimer and waiver of liability notice.
C. A responsible adult must accompany persons under twenty-one (21) years of age. This adult shall act as a coach, and MUST remain with the minor(s) at all times while the minor(s) is utilizing the range.
D. NO FOOD, DRINK, CHEWING TOBACCO, SNUFF OR SMOKING ALLOWED
ON THE RANGE.
E. Only 1-3 shooters permitted per firing lane in additional shooters will have to obtain a second lane; only one un-cased firearm permitted at the firing lane.
F. Persons not shooting are not permitted on the range with the exception of kid’s classes and/or birthday parties without prior consent.
G. No one is permitted forward of the firing line (NO EXCEPTION)!!!
H. Any equipment or other personal items in/on a shooting lane left unattended are at the owner’s risk. Target Time is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
I. Pregnant women, or people subject to seizures, are not allowed on the range.
J. Participant is declaring by signature below that they are of sound mind and body, that they are not depressed, or contemplating suicide, and understand that they need to leave the premises immediately and seek medical attention if any of those thoughts occur.
8. BRASS RETRIEVAL:
A. You may collect your own brass that is on or behind the firing line and in YOUR shooting stall only. All other brass is the property of Target Time.
B. DO NOT CROSS THE FIRING LINE TO RETRIEVE ANY BRASS.
9. EYE PROTECTION:
Safety glasses are MANDATORY when entering the range. Target Time rents safety
glasses for a nominal fee or you may purchase from our inventory.
10. HEARING PROTECTION:
Hearing protection is MANDATORY when entering the range. Target Time rents
hearing protection for a nominal fee or you may purchase from our inventory.
