This class is designed for ladies that are...


  1. Interested in learning about firearms and self defense but not sure where to start. 

  2. Desire an outside instructor to show them the basic of a firearm and how to shoot correctly.

  3. start with the basics & move up in their skill level. 

  4. Want to be with their own peers & tailored specifically for women. 


Then this class is for you.


Description:  This is a 3.5 hour class from 6:00-9:30pm.  First 1.5 hours will be the Basic Handgun Class followed by 1 hour of Self Defense and then 1 hour on the range.   Below is a list of topics covered during the class:

  •  Gun Terminology
  •  Different weapon platforms
  •  What firearm is best for me?
  •  Various Calibers & Ammunition
  •  Weapon Malfunctions
  •  Loading & Unloading your magazine & weapon
  •  Gun Cleaning 
  •  Gun Storage
  •  Strikes and Blows for self defense: 
  •  Range Time:  Grip, Sighting, Stance, Trigger Control, Breathing   


Class includes:  Firearm rental, 50 rounds of ammo, Eye & Ear Protection, 1 B27 Target & 1 Target Range Buck for a future use which gives you one free lane rental for use on the range.  For those that currently do not have a firearm then you are welcome to try a few guns from our rental section (rental fee is waived).    If you have your own firearm you are encouraged to bring that so you can get use to your firearm & help you ascertain with this class if that is the right firearm for you.  Firearm must be unloaded & cased prior to entering the store.   

Class Prerequisites:  Please wear comfortable loose fitting clothes or sports attire for the strike and blow portion of the class.  Tennis shoes or closed toe shoes. 

Age Requirement:  Must be at least 15 years old to attend.  15-20 year olds MUST BE accompanied by at least a 21 years old. 


Class Cost:  $99.00 


Class size is limited to the first 20 participants that reserve a seat.  Pay day of class (3/30).
